Christmas Family Fun Times

Merry Christmas All !!! As you can see....Jenneth wasn't fond at all of Santa and the only way that she would take a picture is if she could sit on Brian's lap.
Tristen was great at his Christmas Program.
We were taking some Family pictures and here is one of them.
Nothing like having the kids crawling around the Alter after Christmas Eve Mass.
Now here's a Christmas Card picture huh????
Nana and Grampa with their little Grandchildren on Christmas Eve.
We had Christmas Eve Dinner at Cooper's Hawk and Palmer was ok as long as he had his big cousin Tristen.
So here are the girls and Jenneth was teaching Molly "her trick"
Not such a great picture of the entire group at Cooper's Hawk.
See Brian's eyes ??? That would be because he had samples of SEVERAL Wines and a glass or two as well.

Thanksgiving 2010

For Thanksgiving we headed to Chicago for a little getaway and shopping. Of course we had to make a stop at Legoland and the kids had a great time.

Brian with Darth Vador

Tristen couldn't have been more excited that they had huge Lego Star Wars guys.

Jenneth in deep thought prior to watching the 4D movie at Legoland.

And here's a ride I gut suckered into that you have to pedal in order to get off the ground. Actually I had a great time !

So today we had the first snow and you would have thought we had a foot as excited as they were.
Now whose idea do you think it was for Jenneth to pull Tristen on the sled?????

Guess that didn't work out as planned....Tristen still at the top and Jenneth at the bottom with an empty sled.

Jenneth Turns 3 Years !!!!!

Well, Jenneth has made it to 3 years old and can you believe it......she is actually smiling in a picture.

As we all gather to open the presents !!!
This one is for you Uncle Donald !! How many 3 year olds choose "The Fishy Place" (Long John Silvers) for their Birthday Dinner ?? The girl won't touch a vegetable but she loves her Seafood.
Here we are with the Pumpkin Carving...always a fun sticky mess for Mom to clean up.
Hold yourself back !!!!! Brian as "Underdog" for his work Halloween Party.
Now are these two cute or what? Jenneth as Cinderella and Tristen as Darth Vader. Can you see the excitement to get started Trick or Treating?

Here's Cinderella in her carriage...must be past midnight cause she doesn't look happy !!!! She kept saying "My arm hurts with all this candy." God for bid she let me empty out her little bucket so it wasn't so heavy. She was worried that Brian was going to take her candy. It was really too funny.
And at the end of the night....... the Annual Loot Trade. I now know how Mom and Dad must have felt as we gave them all of the Almond Joys, broken suckers, Mounds, etc. I had no idea how generous I was as a kid to my parents that night each year.
Here's Grampa with his two youngest girls.
Flag Football has come to an end and stay tuned for pictures of Basketball. Jenneth and I can hardly wait !!!!
Here is how Jenneth spends the hour and a half each Saturday afternoon....McDonald's French Fries and Diet Coke. Thank God McDonald's is just the next parking lot over from the Football Fields.
Here is Tristen in full action on Florida State. I have to say that we were the most decked out family members in authentic Noles gear thanks to Nana and Grampa's closet.

Summer Comes to an End.

For Labor Day Weekend, MA had a FAM to Great Wolf Lodge and Kings Island for work. I took the family and we had a great time in Cincinnati. We got these VIP passes and the kids thought it was the coolest thing ever. Hey, as long as they thought they were important, that is all that matters.
Jenneth was the perfect height for the kids section. You had to be 36" and Jenneth was 36.5" Poor Tristen had to ride all the kiddie rides with Sister. He really did earn a gold star that day.

Oh yeah...Peppermint Patty !!!! Even though Jenneth finally figured out the Characters at Disney World..she wouldn't go near any of them at Kings Island.

Tristen's First Day of 1st Grade !!!
Can you tell it is towards the end of summer as the pool is on its' last leg. Needless to say, the pool hit the trash at the end of the summer

SUMMER 2010

Well, Summer has been busy with Tristen's Baseball. First in house and then Blaze Travel Ball. Poor Jenneth wakes up some mornings and says "When do we leave for Bubby's Baseball today?" Poor thing thinks that this is all that exists.
Oh yeah....we went to Jonas Brothers Concert. We got the tickets for Tristen's Birthday and he was so excited as this was his first concert. It really was a good time.
Here is Brian and I waiting for the concert to begin.

We also had a great treat this summer at GG came for two weeks to visit.
The Girls loved their GG....it could have been the fact that GG gives them all the sweets they want. That's what Gramma's are for right???
Thanks for coming to visit GG...We love you !!!!
Ok, so I did a bad job of taking pictures of the in house team but did finally take some pictures of Tristen at his last tournament for the Blaze.
Do you see the concentration??? Tristen did get a home run this year and has the ball...it is too cute.
Like I mentioned....Baseball was the theme this year. We went to and Indians Game and Jenneth pretty much ate her way through the night. She is now aware of Cracker Jacks and that they serve ice cream at Baseball Games. I know...what Mother puts her 2 year old in a white shirt for the Baseball Game???
The Indians WON !!!!
Tristen is now 7 years old !!!
We had a little party at Nana's house for Tristen's Birthday and of course Nana's means POOL PARTY for the kids.
Oh and here is Tristen and Brian at Red Robin for Tristen's Birthday lunch. He always picks Red Robin because they give him this big sundae.
For Tristen's Birthday itself, he wanted to Putt Putt. It couldn't have been a hotter day so we went first thing in the morning. Notice Jenneth's form with the putter backwards. Left handed maybe???
That pond behind us would be where several of the balls ended up. Thank God they float and there are nets so you can get the balls. Jenneth doesn't quite understand that you don't have to have a full swing in putt putt.
Now is that a good looking group or what???
