Is it Spring Yet ????

So here Brian and I are in our room watching the Big 10 Tournament and all of a sudden these two yahoo's walk in...There is something to say about children having an imagination and creativity.
Here is Tristen at his final Basketball game for the season. They had a big ceremony in which Blue (Colts mascot) came and the kids were so excited. Another sport completed and just waiting for Baseball to begin. His coach told us that he would miss Tristen's wild 3 point shots from God only knows where the kid would make them.
Tristen's class took a field trip to the Children's Museum.
Brian was a chaperone and the group that he had wanted to see the Dinosaurs instead of the Barbie exhibit that was featured during this time. I told him to make sure he took plenty of pictures....here are the two that were the best.
My children decided to take the baby doll stroller and have Jenneth sit in it while Tristen pushed her around the house as fast as he could. Needless to say, the stroller did not make it to the final lap of the race....but they had a great time.
This picture is from back in January. This is Tristen working on his Snowboarding. Here is the picture of him getting ready to go down the hill.
Watch out Winter X Games...here comes Tristen Moore !!! I was pretty impressed with how well he did.
Here are my two little snow bunnies..aren't they the cutest ??

Winter Means Indoor Sports !!!

Well, winter is here and that means Nana and Grampa go on their annual cruise to warmer climate. So let me get this straight...they are lounging on the beach next to the clear blue water and we have to shovel their drive way????

This year Jenneth was finally old enough to do something...and she is doing Gymnastics. She loves it. Check out the height she gets off the balance beam !!!
See the focus ???
This is her favorite...the long trampoline. Who knew you could do so many things on a long thin trampoline??
There she goes. It is the cutest thing to see the determination in her eyes to keep the hands down to the side an point the toes as she jumps along the trampoline.
This year Tristen wanted to play Basketball and it he loves it.
Of course he is the tallest so he gets to do the jump each time...He thinks he's special !!! Of course he has the loudest parents and each time he tries for the three pointer Brian closes his eyes....and he makes it. That is what a summer of playing Shoot Out with the older kids in the cul de sac will get you.
Oh and here is the bench coach and his assistant.

Christmas Family Fun Times

Merry Christmas All !!! As you can see....Jenneth wasn't fond at all of Santa and the only way that she would take a picture is if she could sit on Brian's lap.
Tristen was great at his Christmas Program.
We were taking some Family pictures and here is one of them.
Nothing like having the kids crawling around the Alter after Christmas Eve Mass.
Now here's a Christmas Card picture huh????
Nana and Grampa with their little Grandchildren on Christmas Eve.
We had Christmas Eve Dinner at Cooper's Hawk and Palmer was ok as long as he had his big cousin Tristen.
So here are the girls and Jenneth was teaching Molly "her trick"
Not such a great picture of the entire group at Cooper's Hawk.
See Brian's eyes ??? That would be because he had samples of SEVERAL Wines and a glass or two as well.

Thanksgiving 2010

For Thanksgiving we headed to Chicago for a little getaway and shopping. Of course we had to make a stop at Legoland and the kids had a great time.

Brian with Darth Vador

Tristen couldn't have been more excited that they had huge Lego Star Wars guys.

Jenneth in deep thought prior to watching the 4D movie at Legoland.

And here's a ride I gut suckered into that you have to pedal in order to get off the ground. Actually I had a great time !

So today we had the first snow and you would have thought we had a foot as excited as they were.
Now whose idea do you think it was for Jenneth to pull Tristen on the sled?????

Guess that didn't work out as planned....Tristen still at the top and Jenneth at the bottom with an empty sled.

Jenneth Turns 3 Years !!!!!

Well, Jenneth has made it to 3 years old and can you believe it......she is actually smiling in a picture.

As we all gather to open the presents !!!
This one is for you Uncle Donald !! How many 3 year olds choose "The Fishy Place" (Long John Silvers) for their Birthday Dinner ?? The girl won't touch a vegetable but she loves her Seafood.
Here we are with the Pumpkin Carving...always a fun sticky mess for Mom to clean up.
Hold yourself back !!!!! Brian as "Underdog" for his work Halloween Party.
Now are these two cute or what? Jenneth as Cinderella and Tristen as Darth Vader. Can you see the excitement to get started Trick or Treating?

Here's Cinderella in her carriage...must be past midnight cause she doesn't look happy !!!! She kept saying "My arm hurts with all this candy." God for bid she let me empty out her little bucket so it wasn't so heavy. She was worried that Brian was going to take her candy. It was really too funny.
And at the end of the night....... the Annual Loot Trade. I now know how Mom and Dad must have felt as we gave them all of the Almond Joys, broken suckers, Mounds, etc. I had no idea how generous I was as a kid to my parents that night each year.
Here's Grampa with his two youngest girls.
Flag Football has come to an end and stay tuned for pictures of Basketball. Jenneth and I can hardly wait !!!!
Here is how Jenneth spends the hour and a half each Saturday afternoon....McDonald's French Fries and Diet Coke. Thank God McDonald's is just the next parking lot over from the Football Fields.
Here is Tristen in full action on Florida State. I have to say that we were the most decked out family members in authentic Noles gear thanks to Nana and Grampa's closet.
