Well, the summer vacation has come and gone and a great time was had by all !!!! Below are a few (yes a few, I could have sent a lot lot more) pictures of what we did while we were in Pigeon Forge, TN for the week. One of the stops at the Rest Areas and I had Nana and Grampa right where I needed them........
Orange ICE CREAM !!!!
This is my Cousin Lee.....He has the best tummy to fall asleep on. I used it several times on vacation.
This is my oldest cousin Will.....Not such a great tummy to sleep on as he is so tall and skinny, but a great shoulder for a nap.
We spent a day in Gatlinburg and went to Ober Gatlinburg to do the Alpine Slide. This is Brian, Jenneth, and Breanna on the ride up the mountain.
Now this was hysterical.....Donald trying to get Mom on the lift itself...if you could have seen the actual expression on her face, it was great !!
The Moore gang on top of the Mountain at Ober Gatlinburg
Jenneth and Nana at Hillbilly Golf
The Group at the top of the Mountain at Hillbilly Golf
This was really cool...you take this tram thing backwards up the mountain and then putt putt golf back down.
The kids in Gatlinburg.
Me and the kiddos
Meg's 40th Birthday Lunch at Corky's BBQ in Gatlinburg
Donald set up a great night at Dixie Stampede. Jenneth found out that she loves slushes as her Uncle Donald gave her an orange sherbert one.
Here's the gang at the preview show at Dixie Stampede.
How many Gurzynski's can fall in the river ?????? Yup all 5 of them. Brian and Lee are the only ones that didn't end up in the River. Rumor has it that this group went right back to the cabin and took a nice long nap after a couple hours on the river.
Here's the big rafter !!! Tristen did great. Mom, Tristen, and I went on a seperate trip as we had to swap out Jenneth. Tristen got out of the raft and floated/swam next to the raft towards the end of the float. I was so proud of him.
How cool is it that we got Nana to go with us??? Not that anyone would guess that it was the first time for both of them, I mean they look like rafters don't they?
Here's Tristen, Mom, and Me in action. Tristen did such a good job paddling when the other girl didn't want to.
Here's us at Splash Country. Probably our bummer day if we had to have one...not that it was bad, but the height for most rides were an inch taller than what Tristen was, I got stung by a Wasp and a storm moved in with lightning so the park closed and we had to leave.
Here's where Uncle Donald put me as the rest of the gang went on the big water ride....he got in trouble and they called over the loud speaker to "please take your child off the fence." What Uncle Donald didn't take pictures of was me feeding the ducks, I had the best time EVER !!!
Now the cars were the most fun for Jenneth and for those that could see and hear how excited she was driving the cars. We had to go on the ride twice. They put a booster underneath her and it was perfect. You would have thought she was on top of the world.
Here's half the gang on the big water ride...went on it twice.
Here's the Lumberjack ride that you have to pull yourself up the pole to the top. It was neat and for those that had two adults, it was quite a work out.
Not quite the Dumbo ride that you find at Disney. I went with Jenneth and I about got sick. It went pretty fast for a little kid ride, so Brian and Tristen went on twice while Jenneth and I went to get a Diet.
Here's my buddy....we did a lot of waiting around as the others went on the crazy upside down rides.
This is Brian and Tristen on a bird deal that brought them up in the air and them around in circles...no thanks
The standard carousel.
Brian and Jimmy looking as excited as you can be.
Here is the other ride that Jenneth absolutely loved at Dollywood. I have no idea why, but we could not get her off the Duckies. She would say "ducky, quack, quack" We tried to get her to do the other rides that were her age and no go. Only duckie. I think she rode it 10 times.
Tristen on the other hand was done with the Ducks and did the other little rides.
Who doesn't love Bumper Cars???
Thank God for Will...Tristen wanted to ride the swings but he was too short to ride alone and needed someone 16 years or older.
The Happy Family at Dollywood....ok so Jenneth was scared to death of the Bear.
This had to be the coolest and most wicked ride. You go up the pole as it spins around and once it gets to the top it goes side to side and at one point you go so low that you get soaked with the water fall that is below. It was to big a me !!!!
Not to bad to have these two to take care of me in the park. Granted they walk a lot faster than me, but I know I'm in good hands.
