Tristen had his First Reconciliation this past weekend. Not sure how long his clean slate lasted!!!!
Now what is your 4th Birthday without Chuck E. Cheese?
This is Jenneth's new baby that Nana and Grampa gave Jenneth that dances and I can't wait for the batteries to wear out as it talks and dances NON STOP !!!
Here is Miss Birthday Girl herself with her Cake.
This was awesome. Jenneth was inside the booth trying to get tickets for prizes and she got 950 !!! As you know how great the prizes are with all the tickets.
Now that is one great looking group is it not???
Here's our gang dancing to the music.
3 Peas in a Pod.
And Jenneth's best friend.....
And for those of you that know us well......you have to celebrate your Birthday on the actual day. Jenneth chose Abuelo's for her Birthday dinner and it was fantastic.
Halloween this year brought a Skeleton and Super Girl.
Tristen's football team had their year end party at Snapperz as they were undefeated.
Jenneth managed to find something to keep her busy while Tristen did his football thing.

What have The Moore's been up to ?

Jenneth and MA had a girls night out and went to Max and Ruby Live. We had a great time...We even got to have an all girls dinner with the Meade girls at Cheesecake Factory !!! Did some shopping, shopping, and some more shopping. We finally had to call it quits when all the stores were closed and ended up getting home at 10:30pm.

Tristen played Major Flag Football this year and were the only team that went 8-0 ! Go Colts..the boys had a great season and worked really well as a team.
Here is Jenneth and her best buddy Zeke !!! The two are forever being dragged to sport after sport. At least they have each other.
So, the kids thought that they could take the parents in a little healthy competitive game......That is Brian there in the middle with the blue shorts and me in the gray sweatshirt.
Not so sure what is wrong with all the Dad's. As you can tell I am ready to go here, Anybody????
We won't say who won....but all had a great time.
Don't you just love it????
We just had a visit from Gramma Katie and Papa Doc all the way from Wyoming. They brought the cold weather with them...but we kept them busy with all the kids sporting events all weekend long.

So Jenneth decided that she wanted to try Soccer this year. She is so excited to play (most of the time) She mostly runs and follows the other girls and laughs.
Just look at that Determination !!!!
This is her "ready position" as she calls it.
There she goes....I do have to say that this past weekend she did score a goal and that is all that we have heard about. Go Jenneth !!!
I don't think that I even need to speak to this do I ?????
Brian's Birthday.
Brian and I went out for a Birthday Lunch while the kids were at school. We had the Red Velvet Cake at Stone Creek Dining and didn't even have to share with the kids !!!
Here is Jenneth's first day of Preschool. This girl absolutely LOVES school.

At the end of the summer, I had a work event at Great Wolf Lodge and took the family with me. As we do every year we had such fun.
For those of you who have taken a Cruise will appreciate this picture. We come back from Dinner and we this little towel friend and the kids friends on the bed with popcorn and cotton candy !
At the Dinner Wiley made and appearance, did a little dancing with the kids and of course took some photos.
And here is how we ended the first night. At the outside bar for an Ice Cream Social and Fireworks Show. Again, what a great time !!
So, this is a slide that we had to have Tristen "push" Jenneth down once as she is crying....I won't even tell you how many times she went down after that...we lost count after a couple of hours.
And here is the good big brother trying to amuse us by going with his little sister on the "kiddie slides."

Tristen was really really good at this and it looks so easy. Brian and I both tried (several times) and I will not embarrass either of us by sharing those photos. Trust me, you wouldn't want to see that !!!
Jenneth on the other hand had a much different approach. Hey she did it though.

Closing Down Summer Activities

I have been a little busy lately and behind on my blog updates....Hope you enjoy what the Moore's have been doing for the last month or so !!

The Heat had a great season this year and even won quite a few. They came in second on one tournament, third in one tournament...And won the Championship game in another. The others....we won't go there as we really play some great teams out there.

This was the Tipton Tournament in which Tristen set a Tournament Record of 4 Homeruns (over the fence) He proudly displays the 4 balls.
This summer Tristen turned 8 ! Not only did that mean that he had two parties but he finally got to get out of his booster seat in the car. Isn't it the small things that we strive for?? Tristen had his friends for a party at Ben & Ari's for some putt putt. Let me tell you that you get a bunch of Baseball Players on a putt putt course and watch out !!! "Boys, this is not a baseball bat...keep is below your knees when you swing."

And round two of his 8 year old Birthday was dinner at Mudsocks Grille with the Family.
Oh yes...never far behind Tristen is his best buddy Cousin Palmer.
The Moore's took a little weekend getaway to Clifty Falls State Park and did hiking for two days. This was before we started. See the smiles and how happy we look?? Keep that thought....
This was the only Falls that had water and we were sweating to death so I thought I would jump in. Because we have been so dry here in the Midwest none of the Falls were flowing. It was a real bummer but we plan on going back in the fall.
To the left of the boys was this cool little tunnel that we went through given we took the "Extrenuous" Path since the sign had fallen and we didn't see it.
What a good looking couple...Tristen does pretty well with the camera.
Now this is where we took a really long break given our tour guide (Brian) had us on this trail that was to lead to the caves....lets just say that after an hour of hiking that we had to take the same trail back (yes the entire hour) Needless to say that Jenneth turns to us and says "This is the very last trail that I am taking and there will be no more exploring today." I have to say that at 3 years old she did darn good !!! Because of all the rocks we had to climb and trees to had to climb under is wasn't like we could carry her.
Here are the troops after day 1 of hiking....replenish !!!
We were bound a determined to eat on the water while we were there so we found this restaurant.
It turned out to be a great option for dinner as Jenneth ended up feeding her meal to the ducks and the fish.
We also celebrated Dad's Birthday at Incredible Pizza in Indy. The kids had a great time and I am not sure who this party was for...Grampa or the kids. Grampa was a good sport and watched them play their games.
How cool is that?? They have an air hockey table for kids.
When it comes time for cake and presents....Grampa always has plenty of helpful little hands.
We now move on to the true end of Summer......First day of School. Tristen's annual 1st of of school picture....Here we come 2nd Grade !! The two things that Tristen is most looking forward to in 2nd Grade is First Communion and Cursive Handwriting.
Now what would the end of Summer be without the start of Fall Sports?? Tristen is on the Colts this year and here is is at the Pass Contest in which he won !!
Ok sports fans...we have a new one for you this year. Jenneth is playing soccer. That is her in the pink shorts and green top. This is the first day of practice and the girl had a smile on her face from one ear to the other. Stay tuned for fun pictures and stories as I am sure there will be plenty to share.
