Labor Day Weekend, Birthdays, Football, and School

We took our 3rd Annual trip to Great Wolf Lodge this year.  This year Brian couldn't go, so we did the next best thing and asked Shannon, Molly, and Palmer to go with us.
First thing that night on the schedule was the Client Dinner in the ballroom.  As you can see Willie made a personal appearance to teach the kids how to "Howl"

Of course both girls had to get new "friends" because the hundreds they have just isn't enough!!

Palmer on the other hand was just as satisfied with the goggles that were in the room.  He didn't take these off all night.

As for Tristen, his big purchase this weekend was MagiQuest !!!  He has been saving up and truly had the best time with it all weekend and was able to get through four of the challenges, or whatever they call them....

After our large dinner that night we had to head to the waterpark of course...

Ok, so I was really bad at getting the kids on the slides.  These were the only ones that I could actually get them coming.  All the other ones are too big.  Tristen was such a trooper and rode the little slides with the little ones.

To top off the late night, we headed to the outdoor pool where they had an ice cream cart for the kids while they watched the fireworks over at Kings Island.  And for those of you that now the Campbell's....yes they were out till after 10:30pm that night !!!!!

Ok...so Bo and I had one of the kids take our picture that night....and this is the best that we could get.

Breakfast with Raccoon (can't remember name)  I think the kids had Doughnuts and Cereal for Breakfast.  Grampa, you would have loved it !!!  Now off to Kings Island for the Day.

Here are the girls doing a little driving.

Oh yeah...is that a good lookin gang or what with Lucy?

If you look towards the back...Palmer is in the white t-shirt.

For those of you that remember the Branson Blog, you'll know how much Jenneth loved the swings at Silver Dollar City.  She was not impressed with these as they were "baby swings" but you'll see that she was still willing to ride them.

I know...you've been wondering why Tristen has not been in any of the pictures on the rides.  Well........this would be why !!!  Doesn't it stink to be the oldest Cousin?????

Oh yes...another great shot of the group.

 Airplanes

Tristen and I went and rode some of the "big kid" roller coasters and ran into Snoopy on our way.

At the group luncheon they had all kinds of things for the kids to do.  I decided to be one of the kids and we got some TATTOOS !!!!  They are hard to see...but they are so cool.  See what happens when Brian stays home and we go play?????

Palmer's Favorite...The Train.  I can't tell you how many times I have been to Kings Island and this was my first time on the train.  Apparently this is one of the "musts" for the Campbells.  The good news is there was no wait.

After Kings Island we came back to Great Wolf Lodge to do some swimming and headed outside to enjoy the outdoor pool.

To end the weekend, late that night we headed to the Arcade to do some Duck Pin Bowling...

And for Jenneth to beat both Tristen and I at Air Hockey .

Totally changing times.  We now move to Tristen's 9th Birthday Party.  We had it at Pinheads and we are just glad that these boys are baseball players......because Bowling is really not their thing.

We hope all had a great time !!!

Speaking of Birthdays, Grampa had his Birthday in August as well. I made a sugar free cake, and I have to admit that I think it turned out pretty good.

First day of 3rd Grade.  My little boy rode a bus today for the first time.  Not sure what this "move" is of the boys.

FOOTBALL !!!!  This is the first scrimmage of the season.

That's Tristen there on the right.

And there again looking at me.  I'll get some better pictures hopefully during their first game.

 Yet another Birthday....Brian!

Jenneth's first day of Pre-K.  We were so excited that we wouldn't even take time to dry our hair.
