Summer 2013

I am really really behind on the Blog this summer.  It has been non stop between baseball, softball, gymnastics, and vacations.....
Double Digits Dude !!!  My handsome boy turned 10 this year.   He wanted an LSU cake and all was good till the yellow got a bit out of control and it turned a bit orange.

Tristen chose Dave & Busters for his family party and guess who won the Jackpot????  2000 tickets baby.  I was so excited you would have thought it was money.  I can hear the blackjack tables calling me in Vegas.

Jenneth wanted to share in my wealth.

This is Tristen's Ricky Fowler Puma outfit.  Looking good from head to toe...even a matching belt.  Brian also had one of his Puma outfits on.  My boys have expensive taste.

Guess you cashed in on my big winnings.....

Nana and Grampa gave Tristen the 2013 Baseball Cards set.  He had them all separated into teams and positions by the next morning.

Speaking of Baseball......This is some of Tristen's 9U Heat Travel Team.  This was at the end of season party we had.

Oh...and here are there fearless leaders....What a great group of Coaches, Kids, and Parents.

For our Summer Vacation we met the Gurzynski's in Gulf Shores, AL.  A good time as always. This was Lulu's restaurant.  It was a rainy day so we didn't get to do all the cool thing the restaurant offered, but with this company, it was all good.

My best buddy...

Lulu's had a huge "beach" for all to play in...we just took a picture.

Tristen had an opportunity to go with Jimmy and Uncle Donald to Pensacola to see Tyler graduate from his current school.  They also go to cruise through the US Naval Museum.  I was not there so I can't tell you what is what, and Tristen can tell you but I don't have enough room for his long stories.  Donald and Jimmy....he had an AWESOME time.  Thank you !!!!!

Hello Beach Babies.....This is where we spent the most of our time.  We even turned Molly into a Beach Bum....

Donald, Meg, and Breanna fighting the waves way out there....it looks fun, but those waves are brutal.

Nana and her girls....

Here come the troops back from the waves.

This was the only picture I have of Palmer on the beach....he is more of a pool guy.

That is Jenneth and Breanna being crushed by the waves.  We would have to pull those two out each day.

See...all is good once the wave passes.

Jimmy brought skim boards to try.  Let's just say that this gang is not the skim board type of gang.

For all of you who know me well.....know that we do not travel light.  Oh yes, if you want to use in in the ocean, then you have to help carry it.

Here is where we camped for the week.  Our Condo is behind us.

Nana's little bit of heaven.  The beach, her chair, her book, and iced tea.

Now what would a trip be to the beach if we didn't bury everyone.  Jimmy was the brave one and went first.

Yup...he's under there somewhere.

Tristen was next....

And Jenneth the last brave soul to be buried.

Nope, you are not seeing things.  Dad is poolside !!!!!!

A big family in a little hot tub with some Margarita's.  What a great late night swim....one of the best things of having the pool open late.

Ok, so some families get all dressed up and pay expensive photographers for family photos.  Not the Gurzynski's.  We all surround the pool float of the year (Nana brings a new one each year for the kids) and take a fun family picture in the pool. We are missing Will and David so I guess we'll just have to do it again soon.

Yup, not only does Dad sit by the pool but he swims with the kids !!!!  Thank God for his Water Aerobics as we now have Dad back in the pool and the grandkids to get have those memories.  Sorry Mom, the kids know you are a water nut already !!

Did we mention how great the pool was?  Everyday after the beach we would come take a dip in the pool on the way back to the condo.  RELAXING

We took a little drive to Orange Beach to have dinner at Live Bait.  The absolute best Seafood Nachos I have ever had.  They are fried wontons topped with Crawfish, Shrimp, and all the good toppings.  DELICIOUS !!!!!

Here's the gang at Live Bait...

For all my Noblesville friend who know how much I LOVE Blue Bell Ice Cream......Look at all the choices !!!!!!!

The girls were getting their makeup on so they would be ready for the Condo when we go there.

Oops...this is out of order.  Tristen lost Rex, his Bearded Dragon the day before we left on vacation.  We buried Rex and this was the stone that Tristen made for him.  Not sure if you can read it, but it was truly neat.

Breanna and I Twerked our way through vacation

Transition here......This is the Harbour Trees Beach Club Pool.  This is where the kids hung out for the most part while Breanna was here.

Thunder Buddies !!!!

Breanna took these weeks to master her flip off the diving board......

Will she make it ?????

Perfect Entry....10 !

Jenneth was mastering her Cannonball.

Tristen was working on his Cannonball too.

4th of July.  Not only did we have Breanna with us, but the Lunney's came for a visit too.  We did fireworks at our house that night and had a blast.

Earlier that day the cousins did "kid friendly" fireworks at Nana's house.

Smoke Bombs !!!

What would the 4th of July be without a Baseball Tournament???  This is the banner that we hang at each game this year.

Oh yes...we have turned Breanna into a Noblesville Heat Fan !!!

Here are a few pics of Tristen pitching...

Let's not forget MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!

This year I wanted to do something different and fun.  I picked Izakya.  I have to say that this was one of the best Birthday dinners I have had that I can remember.  I can't remember a time that we all laughed so hard together as a family.

Lunney's....come back and see us.  We miss you already !!!

This is right before the Chef flung food for everyone to catch in their mouth.  You should have seen Mom and Dad try to catch the food....Classic Fun !!

Thanks everyone for a fantastic Birthday Celebration !

This was my actual Birthday night.  Breanna and I headed to the Beach Club for some beverage poolside.  What a great night.

Breann was sucked into Rockband with the kids during the week.

For the girls last softball game we had dinner and swimming at the Beach Club with our friends the Einterz and Oliverio's.  The kids and us had a great time.

Tristen's favorite spot on the baseball field....

Watch out runner....Tristen will throw you out at 2nd.

Here are a couple more pics of TZ pitching.

Mom, Me and Tristen's #1 Fan....Grampa.

Jenneth....we never really see her at the ballpark.  She goes off with her friends from the minute we get there till the minute we leave.

Jenneth also played ball this summer.

Look at that ready position...

Ok, so not so ready on this one.

Look out.....

There is goes....

Here's a different game with Jenneth batting.

And thanks to having an older brother teaching Jenneth to slide......

Go Lady Tigers !!!!

The Three Musketeers !!!

What a great summer of Softball...can't wait for next season.
