Branson Vacation !!!!

So before we get to the Branson trip, there are a few pictures that I will share....

Tristen's last up to bat for the Season with The Heat...

 Homerun ????

We even got Molly and Palmer to the last game...and they loved it.

We are going to take Palmer for Baseball Season.  He just loved watching Tristen and sat the entire game.

Tristen turns 9 this year and since we are in Branson for his actual Birthday, we had the Gurzynski Party before we left.

And yes...the much anticipated Slushy Magic !!

Oh yeah...that is Grampa on the same side with all the kids.  (He didn't even draw the short straw..)

Lighting was bad...but the cake was GOOD !!

So the Branson trip begins.  We had planned on being on the road for about 5 hours just to get a good head start.  This is the first time ever that we have not booked a hotel prior and figured we'll just find one.  Let's just say finally around 2am we hit a small enough town that was willing to rent us a room that was in their system as "not sellable" because the curtains were only sheer and did not have the dark curtains.  Thank God we have the hotel background and I talked the night auditor into renting the room at a discount and we swore not to tell anyone.   It turned out to be perfect with some well needed sleep. Oh, I almost forgot.  The kids and Brian thought this was the funniest sign at the rest area as this cat had   a food and water bowl.

We all arrive at the Condo and late that night the gang decided a little tennis would be ideal.  Tristen and Chase on one team......

Katie and Shannon on the other.....

Zander and Jenneth took turns on different teams and were very helpful as running around the courts chasing the balls.

Of course after some tennis we need to take a dip in the pool to cool off.

So as the night went on..the kids got more and more crafty with their jumps.

Jenneth is doing turns in the air, if you are not able to tell.

Air Guitar Baby

Oh yes, and the Mom and Dad that are willing to sit till 11pm at the pool with their kids.

So you would think that with all the tennis and swimming that these kids would crash early right ???  Not so...I believe they went to bed at 1am.  As it should be for cousins that haven't seen each other in a couple of years !!

So our first adventure of Branson is the Titanic Museum.  They would not allow you to take any pictures inside the museum at all, so this is all we have.  I would suggest for anyone that has the chance.  Some great stories are told from those that survived.

Well here's a shocker...at the pool again.  Poor Gramma Katie is getting all kinds of loving from the grandkids.

And here we are with more jumping...Jacoby is ready.

Tristen and Zander just chillin in the deep end.

Gramma Katie standing in the deep end.....and pulling the kids around in the floats.  One day down...and what a great start it was.

HOT SUMMER !!!

Happy Birthday to ME !!!  Happy Birthday to ME !!!  This year I decided to go bowling for my Birthday and had a great time.  We won't mention that Brian cheated to win by 3 pins.....It was my Birthday, you would think the guy would throw the game????

Pizza !!!  If you are ever at one of our parties...you can count on Cake and Food.

Grampa and his littlest girl...Poor Nana took all the pictures so she didn't make it in any.

You would be amazed how many people it takes to help one person bowl.

Now let's stop to talk about this one for a minute.....Let's just say that Brian slipped on some water that was on the floor and landed on top of the ball.  He ended up cracking a rib and is still in pain.  Tristen asked to go bowling for his Birthday and Brian said. "NO"  I have banned bowling.  Poor Guy !!!

So how cool is this right ??????  I bought myself this cool bike attachment for my Birthday.  Jenneth absolutely loves it and so do I.  Much better than the big carrier that I used to have.  Not so sure I have a lot of help with the pedaling, but I am sure we will get there.

2nd Grade Champions !!!  We only had one loss this year.  What a great team !!

Here are the boys with their Dads.

The Mom's tried to do something fun for our picture...but this is all that we got.

The boys wanted to dump the cooler of water on the coaches but weren't able to pick it up...No Worries, Mr. Moore was there to save the day.  Yup, that's my hubby !!!

There's our 3rd baseman.  Look at the concentration !!!

This summer we went to one of the concerts at Dillion Park here in Noblesville.  It was pretty much a time for the kids to run around and for the adults to enjoy talking while indulging in "adult" beverages.

The poor kids couldn't handle the heat..so the had this cool little tent.

Look, Brian and I at the same event at night !!!!  Poor guy has missed a lot this summer with the new Beach Club opening.

Well, this is what we have been doing for the last month....Tournament Baseball.  This is only half the crew.  We usually have 6-7 tents.  This past weekend was brutal as we had a triple header on Saturday when the temperature was 105 degrees !!!!

Summer Has Arrived

Well Summer is in full swing for the Moores'...which really means Baseball, Baseball, Softball, and Gymnastics.  Which is code for Mom sits at ballparks 6 nights a week!!!!!
Tristen played a double header in Zionsville and hit two over the fence homers !!!!  Jenneth on the other hand has her "friends" that she goes off and plays with and every once in a while comes back to us for snacks or drinks.

The kids have not been thrilled that summer has begun....this is Brian's idea of child labor.  Jenneth is actually happy because if she gets the car vacuumed out...then Brian takes her golfing.

Watch Out !!!  This one is following in her brother's footsteps.  Ok...maybe not quite yet but she loves to have her bubby give her tips.

Tristen is 3rd base coach...and Jenneth is there on 3rd.

And here is Jenneth on 2nd looking at Tristen for the signal to go !!!

Now on to our next sporting event....Jenneth's Showcase of Stars.  Nana brought flowers for the special event.  This was for the family to see what they have learned thus far.

Here are the girls with their medals.  Molly had a dance recital earlier that morning.

Here is Miss Thing at the end of the Showcase getting her medal.

The balance beam....see Grampa in the back there in the blue shirt???  Poor guy.  Every time he would get settled, we'd be off to the next rotation.

Look at that form on the uneven bars !!!

Going back a little on the calendar.  This is Jenneth's Preschool Picinc where they played soccer.  Jenneth and her friend thought it was the bars from their Gymnastics Gym.

And here we are at the end of year Preschool program....What a great picture isn't it??

Going back to Mother's Day.  We had a great picnic at the State Park where the kids flew kites.

Ok, so there aren't any great action shots of them flying the kites, but I promise that they did do it.

Oops..out of sequence.  Another picture of Jenneth at Softball.

Spring Events for the Moore's

These are going in the wrong chronological order...Not sure what I did why I was uploading them.
This is Easter Morning with the kids and their loot after their Easter Egg hunt.

The Annual Easter Brunch at The Garrison

Aren't those four good looking kids or what?  We can dress them up and make them smile, and this was even after brunch and they are still this clean !!!!!

And of course the picture with Nana and Grampa.

This was a girls weekend that we took with all the girls including Nana...she is taking the pictures.  We headed to Fort Wayne for the Vera Bradley Trunk Sale.  You have to start these girls early.  They did so good on both days at the show given they are only 4 and the many many hours that we stood around waiting !!!

Jenneth and I at "Muffins with Mom" at her School.  We made the flower arrangement out of paper...I know you are jealous of our crafty talent.

Jenneth is playing Softball this year...What a slugger.  I think practicing with Tristen is paying off.

We made it to 3rd base.....

 Dragons Ready ????????

Here's the Motley Crew...She has 4 girls from her class at school that are on this team and she just love it.

This was a HUGE day for Tristen as he made his 1st Communion.  We are in our Heat Uniform as we had to rush home, eat, and then right back out the door for a double header.

Don't we look nice all dressed up?

And yet another good looking group.

We were only able to have one of Tristen's Godparent's here, Aunt Shannon,  but we know that Uncle Donald was with him all the way from Baton Rouge !!!
